You are provided access to this website in accordance with these terms & conditions. There may be legal notices on other areas of this website which relate to your use of this website, all of which will, together with these terms & conditions govern your use of this website.
If you choose to access this website from outside the United Kingdom, you are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable.
We reserve the right at any time to:
modify or withdraw this website (or any part thereof) without notice to you and we shall not be liable to you for any such modification or withdrawal; and/or
change these terms & conditions from time to time and your continued use of this website (or any part thereof) following such change will be deemed to be your acceptance of such change.
By placing any orders through our website, you warrant that:
you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
the personal information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and
you agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.
The advertising of Jaeger branded products ("product", "products" or "goods") on this website is an "invitation to treat" and a contract between us and you will only be created in accordance with the terms as described in Placing an Order and Acceptance of your Order.
Jaeger has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that as far as reasonably possible, prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing and that all products have been fairly described.
All prices are displayed inclusive of UK VAT but exclusive of delivery charges. For goods delivered to addresses outside of the UK any duties or tax are the responsibility of the recipient, and are not included in the prices displayed on the website.
Our website contains a large number of products and it is always possible, despite our best efforts, that some of the products listed may be incorrectly priced. We will verify prices in any order acknowledgement email sent to you.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
All products are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if any products you have ordered are not available.
When placing an order you are requested to read and agree to these terms and conditions. Any orders placed by you must be placed in accordance with these terms and conditions. If you are unsure about any of the content of our terms and conditions please contact Customer Services before you place an order.
After receipt of your order we will send you an order acknowledgement email detailing the product(s) you have ordered and confirming prices.
If you do not receive this order acknowledgement email within 5 days of placing your order please contact Customer Services.
The order acknowledgement email is not an acceptance of your order. Acceptance of your order and formation of the contract will only take place once we have confirmed your credit or debit card authorisation for your order, and the products you have ordered have been despatched (unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with the terms as described in Cancellations). We will send you a despatch confirmation email when the product you have ordered is despatched from our warehouse.
We reserve the right to decline any order you place and/or to supply any product ordered as a result of the product you ordered being unavailable from stock, our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment, or if you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out in Access to and use of the website.
The contract between you and us will be concluded in English.
The details of your specific contract will not be filed by us.
The products ordered by you will be at your risk from the time of delivery, and ownership of them will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of them, including delivery charges if applicable.
You are entitled to cancel your order within 7 working days beginning on the day after you received the products ordered. In this case, you will receive a refund of the purchase price and delivery charges paid for the products ordered. Please see Returns Policy for further details.
Please note that your right to cancel and return the products ordered does NOT apply to products which fall into the following categories (unless they are faulty):
lingerie (where hygiene seals have been removed);
pierced earrings (where hygiene studs have been removed);
cosmetics and fragrances which have been opened or used.
If you wish at any time to change or cancel your order, please contact Customer Services.
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel your order after the products you ordered have been despatched, please follow the procedure set out in Returns Process.
This returns policy is specific to online purchases, it is not applicable for any purchases made in a Jaeger store or concession.
If you are unhappy with your purchase we will refund a product within 14 days of receipt, provided it is returned to us in a fully re-saleable condition.
We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on swimwear, lingerie, pierced earrings, cosmetics and fragrances in the situations where your right to cancel does not apply.
If we find that the product has not been returned to us in a fully re-saleable condition we reserve the right to refuse a refund for the product, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount.
We will only normally refund the delivery charge for sending the product to you if the product is damaged, faulty, or does not match your order.
However, if you exercise your right to cancel your order within 7 working days (See Cancellations), we will refund the delivery charge. Please note this only applies to cancellation of the complete order; a return of part of your order will not result in the delivery charge refunded.
In the case of unwanted goods being returned; we will not refund any duties or taxes that were imposed when the order was despatched to the recipient.
We will pay for the cost of returning the product to us when the original order was delivered to a UK address (excluding Channel Islands). Where products were delivered to addresses outside of the UK and to the Channel Islands, the cost of returning the product to us is the responsibility of the original recipient of the order.
Purchases made via this website can be refunded or exchanged at a Jaeger Store, but cannot be refunded or exchanged at a Jaeger Outlet store or Concession.
Products should be returned in their original packaging. If you do not have this packaging, please contact Customer Services.
Returns process for orders delivered to a UK address (excluding Channel Islands):
If you want to return any products pursuant to our Returns Policy, please use the Returns paperwork included with your order.
The Returns paperwork included with your order explains how to arrange for DHL Domestic to pick up and deliver to us the product being returned for refund (unless you request otherwise), or you can take your order to your nearest UK Jaeger store (not Jaeger Outlets or Concessions) who can refund or exchange the product, or can return the product to Customer Services for refund on your behalf.
When returning goods Customer Services, or the Jaeger store team, will review the condition of the product/s before deciding in accordance with our Returns Policy whether to process the refund.
If the goods are returned to Customer Services the refund will normally be processed within 5 working days of the goods being received back. When processing a refund for returned goods at Customer Services, we will refund by the original method of payment and you will receive an email confirming the refund amount.
If you paid by credit/debit card please be aware that it can take up to 7 working days for the funds to show as a credit in your account.
If the goods are returned to a UK Jaeger store for refund the store will only refund by the original method of payment and you will receive a reciept once the refund has been completed. Please note UK stores can only refund an order if it was originally purchased online in Sterling; they cannot refund orders that were purchased in Dollars or Euros. Orders placed in Dollars or Euros can only be refunded by Customer Services.
If a reduced price online order is returned to a store the refund will be in the form of a credit note. To receive a refund of reduced price goods by the original method of payment the online order must be returned directly to the Online Returns department.
Returns process for orders delivered to a non UK address (including the Channel Islands):
You will be required to pay for the return of the goods, and should choose a method of return that is secure and can be tracked. The products ordered by you will be at your risk from the time of despatch until they are proven to have been received into Customer Services. The return and any refund will be dealt with in accordance with the terms as described here.
Once the returned goods have been received by Customer Services we will review their condition before deciding in accordance with our Returns Policy whether to process the refund.
In the case of unwanted goods returned for refund; we will refund the price paid for the goods but not any duties or taxes that were imposed when the order was despatched to the recipient.
When processing a refund for returned goods, we will refund by the original method of payment and you will receive an email confirming the refund amount.
If we decide not to process any refund you will be contacted by Customer Services.
Promotions offered on this website may only be applicable to website orders.
Promotions in Jaeger stores and Shop-in-Shops may not be applicable to website orders.
