Somehow, we’ve already reached the second month of 2017. And as usual, our pacts to start the New Year with a clean slate (Veganuary, dry January – we’re looking at you) have all too soon fallen by the wayside. But if there’s one detox we can commit to, it’s that of our wardrobes. No amount of green juices and gym memberships are as satisfying as clearing out our closets and making space for something new – trust us.
Cue the first of our Spring/Summer ’17 arrivals. Drawing inspiration from the work of potter Florian Gadsby, as well as photographers Tommy Clarke and Grant Hatfield, our super-cosy new knits come in beautifully rich textures. There are unexpected details like cape-backs, curved hems and draped necklines. As for the colour palette, it’s awash with chalky pastels and antique whites, grown-up greys and rich camels.
This is a collection just made for snuggling up at home – albeit in the most stylish way possible – or heading out into the spring chill, if you absolutely have to. Our favourite piece? The multi-textured coat – we suspect it will be on more than a few fashion editors’ wish lists this season. But then, we do also love the pale pink slouchy trousers. And the tie-belt detail dress. At this rate, we better get back to decluttering our wardrobes…
