Merchandise Administration Assistant - Womenswear

We are currently recruiting a Merchandise Assistant to join our established womenswear team.

In this pivotal position as the Merchandise Assistant on Womenswear, your role will include:

  • Managing Branch Stocks & support the Assistant Manager in managing store stock levels.
  • Allocate stock across Women's in line with the range plan, & propose store consolidations when needed.
  • Support Assistant Merchandiser in intake management.
  • Liaison with suppliers and buying team, initiating regular update meetings with Product Development Teams.
  • Support Assistant Merchandiser with analysis when needed.
  • Produce product analysis for Monday Trading pack and distribute pack.
  • Produce analysis of product performance to support trading decisions and range planning.
  • Provide general administration support to Merchandising team as required.


Educated to degree level or equivalent with a GCSE Maths or equivalent, you will be highly numerate with advance computer skills in Excel. A Maths test will be part of the interview process.

Previous experience in finance, retail analysis or allocation is an advantage.

Fabric Assistant - Excellent Salary + Benefits

We are currently recruiting a Fabric Assistant to support our Fabric Manager across Mens and Ladieswear. In this pivotal position, you will responsible for assisting in the development the fabrics across all collections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage and communicate with the Jaeger Fabric suppliers, briefing the suppliers, chasing the sampling, and managing the bulk fabrics across all menswear and ladieswear collections under the direction of the Fabric Manager.
  • Manage and monitor all fabric and sources to ensure they meet the standards of quality, performance, chase in prices and lead times as required.
  • Chasing Test Reports and overseeing under the guidance of the Fabric Manager.
  • Act as key liaison regarding all issues related to fabric proactively and promptly dealing with all relevant issues that arise to enable the business to deliver the required product or maintain quality standards.
  • Support the Fabric Manager in all sourcing and development in line with the design strategy.


  • Fashion related degree, Textile Manufacturing qualification desirable.
  • Minimum 1 years' experience or placement experience within a fabric department desirable together with a sound knowledge of European and Far Eastern Mills, and working across both formal and casual fabrications.
  • Team working skills, personal power and ability to influence colleagues, empathy with design requirements.
  • Strong commercial capabilities with a true liking for and understanding of textiles, understanding of washing, dyeing and finishing essential, as well as an understanding of the luxury premium menswear market.

    Garment Technologist / Technical Product Developer - Womens Outlet - Excellent Salary + Benefits

    We are currently recruiting a Garment Technologist/Technical Product Developer for our womenswear outlet business. Working closely with the design teams you will be responsible for managing the quality and standards for the womenswear business across all collections in line with the Jaeger brand strategy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for driving the specification and development of products and standard of quality across the multi-product womenswear outlet Collections.
    • Responsible for maintaining, managing & driving the critical path through all stages of the development sealing process from initial prototype through to production.
    • Working with factories to engineer garment construction to the required quality whilst hitting target cost prices.
    • Support range plans and development ensuring alignment with style count and pricing needs.
    • Work with Design to define sample placement to achieve required quality/ outlook and retail pricing guidelines.
    • Deliver critical paths on timescales from development to press samples to production gold seals for stock to reach stores in time for sales calendar.
    • Maintain the role of the key contact with sources of supply and retain the overview of the cross departmental functions of design, technical and cloth buying.
    • Expected to make day to day decisions on product development & product sealing.]
    • Maintain continuity of fit requirements on multiple product types across the supply chain base in-line with differing fabrications & methods of manufacturing.

  • Currently a Garment Technologist within the luxury, premium market experience coupled with an excellent technical understanding and who understands the constraints and requirements of working at designer level.
  • Can demonstrate extensive technical experience within womenswear and can demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of product construction and spec generation at premium and luxury level of the market. Understanding & practical knowledge of pattern cutting & alterations.
  • Someone who has gained work experience within factories based in the UK and Internationally.

    Retail Marketing Manager - Excellent Salary + Benefits

    We are currently recruiting an experienced Retail Marketing Manager to assist with the planning and implementation of the marketing strategy within the key areas of responsibility of retail (stores / concessions) and to effectively and efficiently communicate and promote the brand regionally, nationally and via third party channels.

    In this varied role as Retail Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:

    • Devise and deliver a premium and engaging customer communications programme via the direct mail channel.
    • Measure the response and effectiveness to inform future strategies & targeting.
    • Research competitor customer communications activity to assist with future planning and targeting of 'new' customers.
    • Manage the day to day production of customer communication & brand materials such as product labelling, packing, customer related in-store POS for stores and exclusives for concessions. Ensuring the look and feel is on brand and delivered on time and budget.
    • Devise and manage seasonal event plans supporting the Loyalty programme (with the support of the CRM Manager), new store launches and refreshes.
    • Develop events & creative content to support brand equity campaigns that drive brand prestige and generate 'new customer' footfall.
    • Summarising all post-event analysis ensuring maximum ROI is generated.
    • Liaising with magazines and newspapers to devise innovative customer acquisition programmes via reader activity.

    Junior Merchandiser - Ecommerce - Excellent Salary + Benefits

    We are currently recruiting a Junior Merchandiser to join our expanding Ecommerce team.

    Reporting into a Senior Merchandiser in this pivotal position as Junior Merchandiser, your role will include:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • In-Season Performance Monitoring and Forecasting.
    • Managing and Setting the Budgets for the outlet site inline with the Company Strategy.
    • Product accurate and timely reports weekly, monthly and ad hoc as required, supported by AM.
    • Measure Performance against plan, reviewing online performance at department and line level to identify risks & opportunities.
    • Present Online trade summary at the weekly trade meetings and propose action to potentialise sales and identify trading opportunities.
    • Responsible for daily sales forecasting, and proposing action mid-week to realise the Online forecast.
    • Produce weekly forecasts in line with top line plans, and reforecast in-season in line with business monthly and quarterly process, taking into account full price and outlet strategy to potentialise all sales. Sign off with Heads of Ecommerce.
    • Regularly comp shop competitor sites and report back findings or suggestions to improve the Jaeger website.
    • Support the Ecommerce content team with key monthly product focus based on trading patterns.
    • Product divisional and departmental plans for the Online Concessions.
    • Monitor performance of online concessions against plan and drive action needed to minimise risk and potentialise sales.
    • Build relationships with the online teams at HOF and John Lewis, working with the Ecommerce Marketing Manager to maximise product exposure.
    • Oversee the day to day running of the Online concession portfolio. Responsible for ensuring range is on host store sites in a timely manner.
    • Oversee the MAA who will work with product merchandising teams to set ideal IAQ that will maximise sales for the Ecommerce business.
    • Oversee liaison with allocation teams to maximise stock availability.


  • Currently working at Senior Assistant Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser or Merchandiser level within retail, Ecommerce experience essential.
  • Possess excellent commercial awareness and a proven ability to drive profit.
  • Commercially astute and confident decision maker with the ability to communicate across all levels.
  • Have in depth experience in range planning.
  • Have established track record of managing the supply chain.
  • Product focused with a strong interest and passion for the fashion industry.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
