Hôtel Barrière Les Neiges

We’ve got to admit, we love Courchevel. Yes, it’s already home to swathes of luxury chalets and swanky hotels, but this one is really exciting. Opening in December, it combines an authentic Alpine feel (think pale wood, fluffy throws and mountain views) with all the mod-cons you’d expect. If you really want to push the toboggan out, book one of its 20 suites – complete with an open fire and your own personal butler. Bliss.

The Dolomites Gourmet Ski Safari

If you like your pistes with a side of pasta, you’re in luck. This culinary tour of Alta Badia in the Dolomites, a region that takes food as seriously as it does skiing, sees fourteen of the world's top chefs serving up Michelin-worthy dishes and fine wines at pit stops in mountain huts. Our advice? Maybe don’t pack any tight clothes for this trip. The oversized sweaters and luxe joggers from our Après Ski collection should do the trick…

Altitude Festival

There's only so many times you can get away with laughing as (dare we say it) your other half falls flat on their face in the snow. The safer option? Head to Altitude. Staged in Mayrhofen, it combines skiing and snowboarding with stand-up shows from Zoe Lyons, Daniel Sloss and festival co-founder Marcus Brigstocke. Don't miss the Clown Hill race, where you can challenge your favourite comic to a ski-off down Ahorn mountain. Snow, ho, ho.

Yoga in the Mountains

Consider yourself a snow bunny and a yoga bunny? Then this will be right up your street (or should we say slope). Gstaad Palace – the castle-like hotel that once played host to Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly – is teaming up with London members’ club Grace Belgravia on a six-day yoga retreat in January. With the majestic Swiss Alps as a backdrop, there’s surely no better place to practice your downward dog.

Six Senses Spa Courchevel

After all that swooshing and swooping on the ski runs, you could probably do with a little TLC. And, that’s where the new spa at Six Senses Residence comes in. Set to open in Courchevel (told you we loved it) at the end of December, it promises a sauna, steam room and manicure and pedicure stations. Plus, you can expect massages and facials by some of the best therapists in the region. Ruddy cheeks, be damned. Après ski glow, here we come…
