A first-look at our second collaboration with the in-demand menswear designer
One pool table, eight male models and countless craft beers: our LCM Lou Dalton x Jaeger Spring/Summer ’17 presentation was as laid-back and cool as the designs themselves. A stylish crowd (actor Russell Tovey and Esquire’s Deputy Style Director Charlie Teasdale included) gathered at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden on Saturday to be the first to see our second collection with the British menswear designer ‒ showcased with the England v. Russia game playing in the background (yes, football and fashion).
A move on from our AW16 collaboration, it puts functionality at the forefront with a focus on performance features. “Our original concept from last season remains; it’s a collection for modern guys on-the-go,” Dalton explains of her collaboration with our Head of Menswear, James Jee. “However, we’ve put more energy into technically-enhanced fabrics and finishes this season,” she continues. Think engineered webbing, ergonomic sleeves and fine gauge technical merino. With subtle military and sport influences, each piece ‒ from the textured outerwear to the base layer wool tees ‒ was created for the everyday adventurer; the active man who understands the importance of looking good.Register interest
I’m thrilled to be working with Jaeger on a second collection. It’s fantastic to be a part of establishing a new approach to Jaeger menswear
Jaeger was founded upon a pioneering premise around quality of fabrication, and even now (132 years later), we are embracing this principle in new and exciting ways
