Leather Care Guide
Taking Care Of Leather4 ways to protect those extra-special pieces...
1 Dry clean only
This one is a non-negotiable. If you don't already have a trusted dry cleaner, then this is the first thing you need to do. Google at the ready...2 Always hang on a hanger
Not a hook, not a chair, not a door (no matter how tempting). Invest in padded hangers for coats and jackets to help maintain shoulder shape. Don't forget heat discolours leather, so avoid hanging over a radiator.3 Use Leather Conditioner
Remember leather is a 'skin' so it needs to be kept moisturised, meaning a leather balsam is essential for keeping your garments beautifully soft. Gently work into the leather with a soft cloth and polish immediately.4 Polish & Shine
Metal hardware also needs careful love and attention. A dab or two of metal polish (Brasso is great) on a duster ought to do the trick.Shop Leather Back to all care guides
