Camel

5 simple steps to protecting our special camel hair coats...

1 Dry clean only
Never wash camel hair garments at home. These premium pieces need the care and attention only a specialist dry cleaner can provide (just make sure they have experience with the fibre).

2 Stain removal
If you have a small spill, rinse the stain immediately with cold water. Then gently use a stiff bristle brush in the direction of the hair to remove (this can also be used to avoid pilling).

3 24 hour respite
It may sound a little strange, but sometimes your garment needs to 'rest'. This break allows any wrinkles to fall out between wear.

4 Storage
Invest in some padded hangers to ensure the garment keeps its shape. During the summer months pop it in a breathable bag in a cool, dark place.

5 Keep moths at bay
Place mothballs in your wardrobe at all times or natural alternatives such as: lavender, rosemary, clove, mint or cedar.
